Eidul-Azha is the day of prophetic lesson of sacrifice, says Muhammad Farooq Rehmani

Islamabad, June 27: "Eidul-Azha reminds the faithful of the prophetic lesson of human history's greatest order of sacrifice that the most ideal family of Hazrat Ibraheem AS , taught and performed one after another to abide by the orders of Almighty Allah-- Father, son and mother turn by turn submitted before Allah to vibrate His
beaming message to humanity for generations to come till the day of Judgment", says Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman J&K People's Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K in his message of congratulations on the eve of Haj, Qurbani and the greatest universal congregation in Arafat Mecca. He said the followers of the last Prophet (PbUH) thank Allah for having chosen to revive the message of Ibraheem and his family and gain the status as torch bearers of the Ibraheemi mission.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said the Muslims the world over were facing most hard and testing times due to the conspiracies of the enemies of peace and Islam, and only unity within and without can guarantee their victory against their adversaries.

He said the Muslims of the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir were passing horrible times because of the onslaught on their religious and demographic identity and the life of kashmiri leaders was under perpetual threat , while thousands of youth had already been kept behind bars without any justification whatsoever. He said hundreds of government employees had been terminated of their services and recently two doctors who had submitted an impartial and factual report on the tragic double rape and murder case of two abducted girls in Shopian as early as 2009 were dismissed after 15 years in a revengeful way. He stated Indian regime were continuously attaching immovable properties of the relatives of the pro- Hurriyat people by going against the rule of law. Referring to US-India Declaration, he  said it was an ugly development in the White House Washington D.C, when a lengthy military , economic and strategic package had unfolded between the US President and the Indian PM Modi, encouraging India to tighten its nose around the Indian Muslims, other minorities and around IIOJ&K to disregard human rights calls by the world HR bodies.
"America is coming closer to India in every respect to further the ulterior motives of India, and without underscoring its human rights record in India and JAMMU AND KASHMIR and it is the most dark chapter in their histories, when the world knows well that the same US had sponsored or advocated numerous resolutions on the issue of plebiscite in the State of Jammu and Kashmir ", emphasising that if the US wanted durable peace on Earth, India must be compelled to abide by the UN resolutions on Kashmir and every year Eid days in Kashmir must not be changed into days and nights of sufferings, mourning and suffocation. Islamophobia has not been condemned in the W.H statement, which will aggravate the region's polarised situation.

He welcomed a number of American Congress members for recording their dissent on US-India military treaties and its impact on peace in South Asia and hope that the saner and rational voices will prevail on irrational campaign in the regions of conflict and the UN will promote such overtures in line with its Charter and the relevant resolutions. His successor Nazir Ahmad Shah led the struggle of freedom successfully till he was nabbed and arrested by the Indian occupation forces and murdered in custody on 15 June 1994.

His martyrdom news had sent shock waves through out the Valley and people observed shutter-down for three days. In Kaloosa Bandipore, the martyred leader's kith and kin offered Fateh and recited Quran for the blessings of the departed soul.

The regime ruthlessly continued its illegal operations in all parts of the illegally Occupied State and the NIA through its raids and seizure of properties was refusing to abide by the international law.

He condemned NIA action Moulana Rehmtullah Qasmi patron of a religious seminary of North Kashmir at Bandipore. He said its implications can never be good for India, as such religious heads never took part in plitics

Seeking Death for Yasin Malik is a Grave Threat to Kashmir

Islamabad, May 27, 2023: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK, today condemned the Indian National Investigation Agency's (NIA) demand for the death sentence for Yasin Malik, the incarcerated Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.

"Seeking death for Yasin Malik is a grave threat to Kashmir and doesn't augur well for peace and peaceful ways of resolving the long-standing issue of Kashmir," said Rehmani. "The Indian leaders don't care for anything except choking Kashmir and sending the leaders to gallows. These are the most dark and ugly days of the Indian history."

Rehmani said that the Indian Hindutva regime wanted to kill and hang the Kashmiri leaders and even all the Muslims to implement its new settler-policy in Jammu and Kashmir for the benefit of non-Kashmiris and non-Muslims.

"Kashmir needs peace and Muhammad Yasin Malik stood for a peaceful resolution of the dispute in accordance with the wishes of all the Muslims and non-Muslims living in the State," said Rehmani.

He appealed to the UNHRC, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Indian Human Rights activists believing in human rights to take note of the latest threat to the life of Yasin Malik by the NIA and take necessary measures to safeguard the incarcerated leader's life in Tihar Jail.

"We appeal to the international community to take notice of the Indian government's brutal crackdown on the Kashmiri people and its leaders," said Rehmani. "The Indian government must stop its repressive policies in Kashmir and start a dialogue with the Kashmiri people to resolve the Kashmir issue peacefully."

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Expresses Gratitude for Non-Participants of G20 Tourism Meeting in Srinagar

Islamabad, May 23 (KMS): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League and former Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has expressed his gratitude to the People's Republic of China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Turkey, People's Republic of Egypt, Sultanate of Oman, Republic of Indonesia, and Republic of Mexico for their decision to not send their delegations to the G20 tourism meeting in Srinagar.

In a message to the embassies and missions of these G20 member countries, Rehmani said that he prayed for and was grateful for their "high moral decision" to boycott the meeting. He said that the Indian government had "demolished Kashmir's indigenous personality" by implementing a "ruthless demographic change plan" and had "implemented draconian laws" that had kept thousands of people in jail. He also said that the Indian government was "hoodwinking the world opinion and UN Charter and relevant resolutions" by pretending to organize a tourism moot in the besieged and caged city of Srinagar.

Rehmani told the G20 countries that after the dismembering of the State in 2019 and revoking all its special status laws, India's activities in the name of tourism in Kashmir were "meaningless and fake" and that India, not Kashmir, was the beneficiary of tourism in Kashmir. He appealed to other members of the G20 to "think over the positive lines and boycott the moot" until India withdrew all its harsh laws, honored UN laws, and lifted all restrictions on Kashmiris to pave way for a just multiple dialogue on the future of Jammu and Kashmir.

Rehmani also cautioned against the consequences of secret surveillance groups around residential houses and large-scale arrests of people under fake criminal charges. He said that the people of Kashmir were in "great misery-unimaginable so far".

The G20 tourism meeting in Srinagar is scheduled to be held from May 22-24. The meeting is being organized by the Indian government and is expected to be attended by representatives from 17 G20 member countries. However, the decision of the six countries to not send their delegations to the meeting is a major setback for the Indian government.

The boycott of the meeting by these countries is a sign of growing international concern over the human rights situation in Kashmir. It is also a sign of the growing isolation of the Indian government on the Kashmir issue.
