‘Programs in Srinagar, Muzaffarabad and Bandipora’
MUZAFFARABAD/Srinagar, Dec 15: On the 23rd martyrdom anniversary of renowned freedom-fighter and commander, Abdul Khaliq Ganai Shaheed AKA Jamal Afghani, glowing tributes were paid to him by the people in the Indian Occupied Kashmir and Muzaffarabad (AJK). People in Kaloosa Bandipora–his home town offered Fateh at his grave and Quran-Khawani.
In Muzaffarabad, a function to commemorate his martyrdom was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League (JKPFL) in which speakers threw light on the life and struggle of the great patriot of Kashmir who began his political struggle for freedom of Kashmir in 1970s as a student and attained martyrdom during the prime of his youth.
