Islamabad: Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir
People’s Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has strongly condemned
unprovoked and escalated brutal crack-down in ChuntiMullah (Bandipora)
against the villagers especially beating, and torturing of a woman,
Sakeena, and her brothers Gh. Hassan and Junaid in their houses;
followed by another blind operation against peaceful protesters who
assembled there, from the surrounding villages to march to the office of
the deputy Commissioner of Bandipora to demand action against the army
personals of unbridled RR 14 army camp in the troubled village. He said
the life of the inhabitants in these villages continued to be insecure,
and harassed for the last two decades because of a permanent army camp.
They humiliate, intimidate and beat people whenever they wish so.
