Islamabad, March 22, 2023: " 23 March 1940, was a milestone in the historical freedom struggle of the South Asian Muslims, who under the dynamic political and sagacious leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah were victorious to achieve the goal of creating Pakistan, ending long trauma of 1957 Muslims' massacre by the British imperialist forces, says Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League and Ex-Convener Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K Chapter, on the eve of Pakistan Day to felicitate the people and the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
He paid glorious tribute to the martyrs, Muhajireen, all the freedom-fighting Muslims , and leaders of the All India Muslim League–Quaid-e-Azam, Dr. Allama Iqbal, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Liaqat Ali Khan and other front-ranking leaders of the Pakistan movement, who sacrificed every material benefit to support the Quaid in his relentless and successful struggle for creating a new state on the map of the world. He stated that the Pakistan fought and repulsed foreign Indian aggression and battled internal enemies during the last 75 years with the help of its people from every regional and ethnic group of the country but also supported the struggle of oppressed Kashmiri Muslims for their right of self-determination, Afghanistan independence struggle and played its role in overcoming international challenges to Islam and the Muslim cause of the world over.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that the State was once again in economic turmoil and history's awful political instability but hoped that the leadership of all shades would demonstrate political wisdom to overcome odds in its way and defeat the overt and covert agenda of the enemy to harm Pakistan. He expressed the view that the political and economic stability was of paramount importance for thwarting India's settler-colonialism in Jammu and Kashmir and also saving the Indian Muslims from genocide and conversion to Hinduism. He stated that Pakistan in the current tumultuous situation was expecting a rebirth to defeat designs of its enemies and those of the enemies of Islam in the shape of Islamophobia.
Long live Pakistan
Long live Kashmir and its struggle for freedom and right of self-determination
