Passport denial shatters Kashmiri scholar’s Italy dream
Srinagar April o5: A 27-year-old Kashmiri scholar’s dream to join a prestigious Italian institute for research has hit a roadblock. Because he has been denied passport by Indian admini Kashmir authorities in Srinagar.
Aashiq Hussain, a resident of Papchan in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, aspired to carry out research work to “discover the closed chapters in science of physics” at The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy
