President’s emphasis on right of self-determination hailed by Farooq Rehmani

Islamabad, April 18, 2013: The Chairman of The Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has welcomed the meeting between the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and the Hurriyet Conference leaders, and the former’s address before a joint session of the AJK Legislative Assembly and Council at Muzaffarabad on 17,April; paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiris for the right of self- determination as reaffirmed in various Kashmir-related resolutions by the Security Council, and martyrdom of Afzal Guru in the Tihar Jail Delhi.He hailed President’s reiterating of Pakistan’s commitment to the universally recognized right–the right of self-determination for the Kashmiris, as a nation. Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said, “the visit of the President of Pakistan to Muzaffarabad and his address in the Assembly has rekindled the belief of the people across Jammu and Kashmir that Pakistan will continue to support the peaceful struggle of the Kashmiris to regain their right to decide their destiny freely and without coercion.”more
