Srinagar: Three Indian army personnel were injured while a
militant lost his life in an encounter in North Kashmir’s Kunzar area
on early Wednesday. Kunzar lies on way to Gulmarg after Magam from
Srinagar.
Reports reaching here said, “on specific
information, army and police laid a siege around Bongam village of
Kunzar this morning.” “The militants hiding in the village fired upon
the forces, triggering a gunfight in which a militant died and three
army men were injured.”
