JKPFL holds protest in Srinagar against Udhampur incident; Ramzan Khan others arrested

Srinagar, October 12, 2015: Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League[JKPFL], here held a protest demonstration today in Lal Chowk, Srinagar against torching of a Kashmir-bound truck at Udhampore in which three Kashmiri truckers sustained serious burn injuries who are now battling for life in Delhi hospital, to draw the attention of the world towards stepped up Hindu terrorism in Jammu.
The demonstration was led by JKPFL, General Secretary Muhammad Ramzan Khan and others. Protesters raised slogans against India and demanded protection of Kashmiri traders in Jammu and Delhi. In the meantime Indian police came in and arrested JKPFL General Secretary Muhammad Ramzan Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmed Shah, Arshad Aziz, Showkat Ahmed Bhat, and others and lodged them in Kothi Bagh Police Station in Srinagar and didn’t allow to carry forward the demonstration.

Blood of innocent Kashmiris would lead to dawn of freedom: Ramzan Khan

Muhammad Ramzan KhanSrinagar: Muhammad Ramazan Khan, the General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League[JKPFL], paid rich tributes to innocent civilian auto-driver by profession Muzamil Ahmed of Vehal Shopian who was killed by the Indian forces in a fake encounter at Kawani Awantipora, Pulwama.
Muhammad Ramzan Khan while expressing Sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family said world community should pressure Indian to stop fake encounter, mysterious killings in Kashmir. He said such killings are now been a routine in Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian forces to suppress the struggle of freedom in Kashmir. He further said that the Indian forces are failed to catch the freedom fighters now they are avenging innocent civilians sometimes they take resort to fake encounters and sometime mysteriously.
Ramzan Khan said Kashmiris are fighting Indian bullets with their blood and last the blood of innocent civilian will flourish with the dawn of freedom.

Kashmir valley protests on beef ban, animals slaughtered

Srinagar: A day after controversy erupted in Jammu and Kashmir as a Court order asked government to enforce ban on beef, protesters defied the order slaughtering cows in presence of government forces. Moreover, protest demonstrations were held at many places across Kashmir region, call for which was given by senior separatist leaders.
In a bid to thwart protest marches, authorities had already arrested or placed many pro-freedom leaders under house detention.Central Kashmir: Number of protest demonstrations against the Court order were reported from State’s summer capital Srinagar.
Violent clashes broke out in old Srinagar city in Nowhatta, Gojwara and Kawdara areas after Friday’s congregational prayers. Police used tear smoke shells to disperse angry protesters who were protesting against the beef ban order.
Reports said that amid pro-freedom and anti-RSS slogans, protesters waved Pakistani flags and hurled stones on government forces. Intense shelling created panic in the area. Several CRPF vehicles were damaged after protesters attacked them with stones.

Ramzan Khan new General Secretary of People's Freedom League

Srinagar May 12: The Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League[JKPFL] today held an unusual meeting, attended by executive members and other members, taking stock of the organisational activities, the party Chairman Muhammad Farooq Rehmani by a tele-conference nominated Muhammad Ramzan Khan as the General Secretary of the Peoples Freedom League.
In his press release the spokesman of JKPFL, Imtiyaz Ahmed Shah said that Muhammad Ramzan Khan resumed his charge today and vowed to work for the ongoing freedom struggle till the goal is achieved. He emphasized upon all workers of the party to work zealously for the freedom and the right of self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
