Eid Message Unites Muslims: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani

Islamabad, April 20: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League and former Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K Chapter, in his Eidul-Fiter Message today congratulated the Muslims and prayed for the unity of the Umma against all odds , Islamophobia menace, freedom of Kashmir, Palestine, Rohingya, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, India and wherever in the East or West, the Muslims were subjected to political or economic slavery, oppression and suppression .

He prayed to Allah to usher a new chapter of hope and success and stability for the Muslim countries to withstand every internal or external assault on their unity, stability, and sovereignty . Muslim nations and states be relieved of political, economic  and cultural and other mountainous threats and the Muslim world gain strength and prowess to defeat the war thrusted to deprive them of their economic growth and commercial and scientific advancements.

He condemned India's continued bloody war on Jammu and Kashmir Muslims majority character to suppress their peaceful struggle for the right of self-determination.

He appealed to the UN and other international forums to support their legitimate struggle and prevent it from changing the demography of the State in favour of a microscopic Hindu minority. He said the youth of Kashmir were arrested every day and lodged in different far-flung jails of India, while other leaders were facing life sentences in the Tihard jail on flimsy grounds.

He lamented that the present day Kashmir was a beautiful prison, surrounded by an iron curtain of over 9 hundred thousand military and paratroopers, the inhabitants inside the Occupied region were living a life of suffocation due to surveillance and restrictions on press and platform. " hundreds of media men, photo journalists and human rights activists are facing fake criminal charges in different jails ", he disclosed.

He stated the mental and physical condition of Jammu and Kashmir Muslims was worst under India's Hindutva regime, than to be described and the only way forward to avid a catastrophic war in the region was to begin an international dialogue to fulfill the international promises for the right of self-determination, of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He demanded release of all the Kashmiri detainees and APHC leaders from the Indian jails and said that the restrictions on Jamia Masjid prayers and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq under house arrest be lifted and the earliest. The UN should play it's role in this regard.

He lamented over the plight of the Indian Muslims, where the Modi regime had begun a campaign of target killings of the Muslim leaders, while the lynching campaign of the Muslims at the mass level was already going on across the country. Under the given conditions, Indian Muslims needed all peaceful help from the world  ommunity to  secure their fundamental rights as citizens of the State. Pakistan under mutual understandings and relevant bilateral and UN assurances should take up tragic episodes with the Indian government and leave no stone unturned to save the future of about 215  Indian Muslims.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in his Eid message    referred equally to genocide of Palestinian Arabs in the Occupied Arab territories and Jerusalem and said latest cycle of killings of Palestinians and restrictions in the Al Aqsa Mosque on Palestinians by the Zionist regime was a brazen violation of the rights of the people of Palestine and the UN resolutions on Palestine. He said that Palestine belonged to the Arabs of the Palestine  and the only means to achieve peace in the ME was to restore an Independent state of Palestine.

He congratulated all the subjugated Muslims and paid tribute to the struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Palestine, and others and also 215 million Indian Muslims,  who were offering great sacrifices for their basic rights under the Indian Constitution. He enjoined them and other oppressed minorities of India to get united under a common program to fight for their fundamental constitutional rights and be successful.
